A promising Diablo IV expansion

The eagerly anticipated Diablo IV - Vessel of Hatred, Diablo IV’s first expansion pack, is slated to transport players back to the fan-favorite location, Kurast. Mephisto, in his quest to corrupt Neyrelle, once again, becomes the target of pursuit for players across the jungles and ziggurats.

Subdue Mephisto in this DLC

Following developer studio Blizzard Entertainment’s announcement of releasing seasonal and annual content expansions for the action game Diablo IV comes the downloadable content (DLC) Vessel of Hatred. Its narrative seems to pick up at the end of the base game’s storyline, wherein Neyrelle takes off with the soulstone containing Mephisto.

His claim of growing stronger with every step Neyrelle takes signals a threat, implying that Neyrelle could transform into a receptacle for Mephisto. There’s also a new class being hinted at. However, this DLC is currently in the works and will definitely require the base game before it can be played.

A Diablo IV DLC to watch out for

With Vessel of Hatred’s narrative intricately woven into the resolution of the base game, it presents an impending threat tied to Neyrelle’s potential transformation into Mephisto’s vessel. As players engage in a thrilling chase of Mephisto across Kurast, the stakes reach unprecedented heights. Currently under development, it also hints at a new class.

PROS

  • Comeback of a fan-favorite setting
